Hanh Truong is a freelance journalist covering education, environmental initiatives, policy, culture and music. She is currently writing for Buzzbands.LA and PBS SoCal/KCET. She graduated from the University of California, Irvine cum laude with a B.A. in Literary Journalism and a minor in Humanities and Law. She had stints at the Los Angeles magazine, Salty magazine, Cloud Jam Studios and Orange County Register. She was also an Editorial Intern at the OC Weekly and a Communications Intern at DC Action in Washington D.C.
